this work is about the changes my gender identity had gone through throughout my life. i haven’t changed enough to become a completely different person, i’ve simply been able to become more comfortable with myself and how i like to present and want to be percieved.

in this work i wanted to create a feeling of discomfort and fear without showing the viewer what they ought to be afraid of. i want my viewers to feel as though they are hiding from something in an uncomfortable space.
